This street reconstruction project is in the final phase of an 8-year plan to correct the failing streets in Marquesa. Phase 1, which included the reconstruction of Reina, Dauphin and upperRegina, was completed in July 2021. In September 2023, Phase 2 included the reconstructionof Duquesa and Imperatrice, and patching of lower Regina to minimize further deterioration. In October of 2025 Phase 3 included Upper Marquesa and Lower Regina. The Board had hoped to complete reconstruction of all the remaining streets, however prices skyrocketed since the last estimates they received in the fall of 2023. The final community street to be reconstructed is Marquesa cul-de-sac which is scheduled in fall of 2027.
